2018 Fall Foliage Ride

The 2018 Fall Foliage Ride was not as "colorful" as we had hoped, but we did manage to see some fall foliage on the Ride. It started out at Lititz Post 56 with a wonderful home-cooked breakfast served by our SAL and then we headed out into the chilly and VERY windy day through a scenic ride through the countryside to Morgantown American Legion. After we warmed up a bit, we wound our way through some more twists and turns to Richland American Legion before returning to Lititz American Legion for some hot food, good conversation and a Chinese Auction. This year's proceeds were for the Lebanon VA Hospice in memory of David Little who passed in March of this year at the Lebanon VA Hospice Unit. He was the Service Officer for Lititz American Legion Post 56 and had been shot down 2 times in Vietnam and bathed in Agent Orange twice while flying. He had been awarded many medals for his service and was truly a man of honor.
